Candice Reddings love, passion, interest, life has always had an ultimate desire to shine. From modeling and singing, to dancing and entertaining massive crowds with her selective music.
She was very persistent then and she is even more so now, with experience, and the ambition to move forward, nothing and no one holds her back. Its her love for the art of music and sound that has taken her so far.
At the age of 17, her interests grew as her crowd got bigger. Booking artists world wide for events locally and internationally, she brought a certain flavor to every event lacking soul and vibe.
She broke free when she based herself around Asia, with sounds of groovy based trendy house and branching into other genre’s such as Electro House, Progressive, Deep Techno house and Techno. Her love is Tech House and Techno ♥ EDM .

One of the early proponents of the now-popular genre of Dubstep in India, NUCLEYA has built on that start to emerge as one of the most exciting, experimental and engaging producers in the Indian scene in the past five years.
He has made his mark as an Indian dance music producer, focussing on sounds and textures that are Indian in sound but international in appeal.
His new album “Bass Rani” explores regional sounds and cements NUCLEYA’s position as the Indian leader in the ‘global bass’ movement, as he continues to look to the future for new sounds.
He has performed at numerous music festivals around the world including Glastonbury (UK), Edinburgh Fringe Festival (UK), Lille 3000 (France) and the Electron Festival (Switzerland), where he performed alongside artists like Diplo and Modeselektor. No one can forget the catch of Faoud Bacchus against West Indies that helped India win the 1983 World cup. The one and only Syed Kirmani has accepted our offer to join us at the 4th edition of Alegria – The Festival of Joy. Syed Kirmani was the Wicket keeper for Team India when we won the 1983 World cup and also won the award for the Best Wicket Keeper of the World Cup.
He joined the Indian team in 1976. Kirmani was the quietly efficient worker ant who replaced the flamboyant Farokh Engineer behind the stumps for India, and went on to become their greatest wicketkeeper. His 12-year stint at the top saw a sea-change in the way India played. The early part of Kirmani’s career was spent keeping wicket to the famed spin quartet, never the easiest of tasks. After they faded away, he had to step back a few paces to deal with a seam attack spearheaded by Kapil Dev. It is testament to Kirmani’s greatness as a keeper that he was able to perform both roles with distinction. A doughty batsman down the order, he scored two Test hundreds and baled India out on several occasions. He played a crucial role in India’s triumph in the 1983 World Cup, contributing a flourish or two with the bat in addition to being immaculate behind the stumps. It is a great honor to have a legend like him here among us.
Abhilash Tommy is the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony of Alegria – The Festival of Joy . He is an obvious choice to kickoff this years festivities since our theme this year is “Wanderlust”.
A role-model for the travel-struck and adventurous youth of today, he is the first Indian, second Asian, and 79th person to complete a solo, unassisted, non-stop circumnavigation under sail in 151 days. His accomplishment has been lauded across India and our president Pranab Mukherjee himself was present to welcome him back to India. Tomy was awarded the Kirti Chakra (second highest peacetime gallantry award in India) and the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award.
This adventure of his was nothing short of living a thriller movie, storms, extreme temperatures, running out of drinking water, sea sickness. To top it all, he had to do this all by himself. Surviving alone for 5 months without any human connection anywhere is a difficult enough task, leave alone in the middle of the ocean. His made in India boat ‘INSV Madhei’ has also gained worldwide fame along with him.
A man of such stature has accepted our humble offer to be present at the Opening Ceremony and we are filled with joy to have him here.
