Sahil Khan to judge the body building competition “Musclemania”
A lot of people compliment you when you have a great physique. They talk about how good you look. But what they don’t understand is that it wasn’t a walk in the park for your body to achieve what your mind believed. They don’t see the hard work and dedication it took you to become what you are. It is said that willpower is never found. It has to be created. And the perfect example of that is the Bollywood actor and India’s fitness icon of our country, Sahil Khan.
Born on 5th November,1976, Sahil started his career with a musical video of Sereo Nation “Nachenge saari raat”. Later through the music video “Oh Laila”, he was spotted by director N. Chandra who gave him his first break in the Bollywood film industry. He made his debut as a lead along with Sharman Joshi in the movie “Style” in 2001, which was a super hit. He went on to do many movies with the biggest superstars in the Bollywood industry like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. In 2009, he worked with industrialist Yash Birla and nutritionist Rehan Jalali to develop sports and nutrition supplements for the Indian market. Twenty years ago, he arrived in Mumbai with a dream to represent Inia as a professional bodybuilder and with sheer dedication, he has reached and set the standard of body building at the top most level.
In February 2016, Sahil launched India’s first and only open-air beach gym called “Muscle ‘n’ Beach gym” at Baga beach, Goa. The gym aims to encourage more people to get active while enjoying their holidays. In October 2016, he joined hands with India’s number one selling food supplement company, “Bigmuscles Nutrition” as Executive Director as well as Brand ambassador. He has also been honored as the India’s fitness icon for Asia’s biggest fitness show at “Sheru Classic India”.
Living by the moto “We rise by lifting others”, this crazy travel lover, workaholic, food addict and health freak is coming to our college at Alegria 2018 – festival of Joy on 8th February, to judge the body building competition “Musclemania”.
